Back From HK

Hi Everybody ! I’m back from Hong Kong… actually back on Thursday nite liao… still in the process of uploading the pics from my camera… abit slow… hopefully I’ll be able to share some of the pics wif u on my blog soon… Stay tuned…

Juz some things to share abt the trip :

Weather: Between 18 to 23 degrees (roughly), din feel as cold as we expected, juz like a cool day in sg… but good thing is wun sweat coz a lot of walking involved…

Expenses: Spent abt 600+ sg dollars in hk (for me), inclusive of food, transport and shopping, paid abt 500+ for air tix and lodging, total of abt 1200 bucks for tis trip

Shopping Cart: Down Feather Coat (for my coming Korea trip), Adidas sling bag, one Hard Rock Café shirt, another shirt from nite market… plus some small gifts n snacks…

Food: The 烧鹅 is superb… the dim sum is good too… definitely beta than those sold in sg… food in general is above average… but the coffee there sux lah, similar to those latte they sell at starbucks… the 街边小吃 not bad but not much lah, not like Taiwan… I tried the 咖喱鱼蛋，臭豆腐 n 烤番薯… yummy…

Remarks: One thing I want to tell u all is tat shopping in hk is not as expensive as rumours make it out to be… in actual fact, theirs prices are cheaper than sg… plus they haf further sales n discounts which makes things even cheaper… another contributing factor (I think) is due to the currently weak hk dollar… we were able to get an exchange rate which is abt 1 sg dollar to abt close to 5 hk dollars… Another thing is tat u dun realli nid to know Cantonese to get ard in hk… most places haf ppl who understands or speaks at least some broken Chinese… so no worries…
