Four more weeks to go… I am still counting… at 1st I tot clearing the observations would mean less workload for the remaining practicum period… but as the saying goes, “dun count ur chickens b4 they hatch”… guess I was too optimistic liao… or too naïve… the work juz nv stops coming in and piling up… haiz…
1stly, for my P5 class, I cleared the syllabus plus all the 作业，造句，考查etc… meaning I have to PLAN from scratch every single lesson for the next two weeks… tink abt it oso wana cry… where got so many ideas? Seriously, I duno wat to do liao… haiz…
2ndly, toopid compositions… so difficult to mark… esp for my P4 class… most of their compos are crap loh… correcting their mistakes is machiem like redoing the whole compo for them… so tedious… I burn last Sunday marking compos… but in the end show my CT… she so many ‘comments’… actually is more like criticize… so I have to re-look thru EVERYTHING again… and guess wat? I have two classes’ compos to mark tis weekend… almost 80 of them… next week have another two more compos coming up… another 80… WAH!!! I am going crazy… for those of u who are not teachers and dun understand the feeling, juz imagine having to read and write 160 作文s in two weeks… and u still have to wake up 6am everyday go to work as usual…
I went for a army gathering yesterday… met a lot of old army frenz… not bad… all doing quite well… some married… many of them switched jobs… coz of salary, working environment, prospects, interest etc… I know every working person has his/her own problems, every job has its difficulties… but at least I feel they are luckier than me coz they have the choice to change their job… not like us teachers… being tied down by the toopid bond… dun like it oso have to die die tahan 3 years…
After the gathering, I tot abt a lot of things last nite… I am tinking tat even if I manage to tahan the 3 years… so wat? It’s hard to make a career change... wat can I do? Beri hard to quit then… I cun imagine being jobless at the age of 30… it’s juz so pathetic… so does it mean I’m stuck with tis job for the rest of my life? * pondering *
Anyway… in the meantime… 过一天算一天… the countdown continues… four more weeks… 我会熬下去的！
